I would imagine their silence is likely due to contractual obligations? I mean, just getting a straight word ABOUT the fact it was timed exclusive, what the estimated duration would be, etc, took significantly longer than it would have without a bit of enforced hush. So wouldn't really be surprised if part of the deal means that Square Enix has to wait until x date to even begin saying 'So, that PLAYSTATION 4 port of RotTR is coming! Y'know, the version for PLAYSTATION 4. It's still coming guys! On PLAYSTATION 4.' 'Why are you yelling everytime you say-?" "So the PLAYSTATION 4 owners will know it's coming to the PLAYSTATION 4!!!'
That being said, curious about both when they can start talking about it, and how much further in advance of that date they'll set the release date. =P
