4. Demon's Souls (PS3) - incredibly immersive and challenging RPG with unique social features
3. Super Mario Galaxy (Wii) - spectacular level design and a touching story
2. Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii) - a single planet in SMG 2 has as many ideas and mechanics as entire games
1. Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii) - an incredibly substantive RPG with amazing combat, characterization, and world design
