You should get to know my mother, she loves ringing me up to tell ehr how to roder something from Amazon or how to download books to her Kindle, yes there are still parents and older folk out there these days that don't know what something is let alone how to work it in the tech world. My stepdad only knows of 10 because I told him about it, apart from that he was stuck with 7 until his previous laptop died on him and since it was too old to fix he had no choice but to buy a laptop with 10 on it (since most electronic stores love removing any previous devices with a slightly older OS).
Honestly the whole forced upgrade idea is sadly working for them but I also think it's wrong of them to do so. It's one of the reasons I dislike 10 let alone MS's general practice/ideals.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
