You made a thread like this before only to easily be swayed to a different opinion.
But I do share your concern... Sort of.
Japanese developers do not get open world games. They just dont. Even Hideo Kojima could not create an interesting open world setup leading to the only boring MGS in the series. Quite frankly, I dont think Nintendo is gonna pull it off because of their "we dont look at other games mantra" and just being old.
I dont even think FF15 is gonna pull it off. Open world is a western thing.
