Summer 2008 should mark the release of battlefield heroes. I was wondering who here on the forum are looking forward to this title.
Anyone not in the know, Battlefield Heroes is developed by Dice and can be downloaded and played for free. Revenue comes from advertising (whilst loading and on the site, not ingame) and micro-transactions. The overall feel is cartoony with an emphasis on fun and accesibility. I hope that with the free download and low-end specifications for this game, we could finally start a true VG multi-battle. As platforms and hardware specs should no longer be a barrier, I'm hoping for some great international fun frag fest during the upcomming summer!
