EDIT: Oh, it's from Proelite. He's not an insider, he's just a regular poster on Neogaf. 

The latest info from OsirisBlack suggest they are going with the 5.5tf model and they're targetting a $499 release, though to meet that price point they may have to release at a later date (march 2017).

Okay, thanks. I could see $499, but it's just hard to see Sony ever again announcing a Playstation releasing for $599, when it took them years to live that down with the PS3. I understand the Neo is supposedly a premium product, but that would be an incredibly painful bit of pr to dive into again.
