Why disturbing? Is it making you question your sexuality? 
And I dunno, I remember stores giving Dreamcasts like candy back in 2002 or so. Even my uncle (someone who always favored Nintendo over Sega) went and grab a Dreamcast, which was how I initially play Shenmue!
