Given the opinions you've expressed in the past about the differences between the PS4 and X1, why would you care? This rumour being true (relative to past ones) would likely represent a smaller jump than what we see between the PS4 and X1, so you'd be paying more for something you don't value.

(I'm not trying to call you out or anything, i'm just curious as to what you see as being different).

Um, 4k, higher and more stable framerates, and much better looking 1080p games are all much bigger than some piddly 1080p vs 900p comparison :)

But the 'jump' being described would (ignoring unknown variables) likely result in a gap smaller than 900p to 1080p. So my point is, if you consider that jump "piddly", why do you believe a possibly smaller hardware jump will result in significantly larger upgrades (relative to your own standards)?

Don't get me wrong, as someone to who does value the difference between 900p/1080p and things akin to it (hell, I've been gaming at 4k on my PC for a few months now, so the former has become even more of a grate for me), i also want the Neo to be stronger than previously rumoured. I'm just confused as to what, based on your past preferences, you're personally expecting to get out of it.
