IIRC France are one of the largest opponents to Turkey joining, so it seems unlikely as long as they are still in it.

Well, after the UK leaves the remaining 7 "net contributors" will be strained harder. That includes France. 

And 20 EU "net benefiters" memebers will welcome a new "net contributor" to fill the void regardless of the differences. 

I am sure it's not that simple and I'd like to hear what Kowen, and others, have to say.
