Why? Becuase of the 'small' poll number? I'm guessing both sides of this election used polls and numbers lower than that for their statistics. Just making the point that 1000 is a standard number for polls (as apatheticly as possible). 100,000 people, 100 people as long as the poll is fair and a good sample diversity it can be taken as a valid portrayal of paterns. Take 1000 people poll from a university campus only or a retirement homes only, it won't be a fair sample.
Hmm, pie.
