Android isnt just casual gaming. I'm playing Max Payne on my phone now, may play Indigo Prophecy or KOTOR next. Its great stuff to have when I'm bored and away from consoles.

I'm not saying I want Linux gaming to die off. Linux gaming is just not catching on. Android has made a bigger impact in gaming because its a unique and convenient way to access games that Windows doesent offer.

According to the general market it is in terms of general use and mobile gaming sales.

It's great to have for other OS's to have when away from consoles when it comes to Linux/Mac gamers who play old titles, hell I'm playing the older Zelda games on my N3DS tahn say the home console ot the older handhelds they were once released and played on.

Not wanting it to succeed would be the same as not wanting it in general. It's been growing more so than it was 10-15 years ago, the kind of "catch on "you want is a set personal bar that it;s frankly never going to reach, even if it did a new bar would be raised in it's place.

Android isn't as unique as you'd like to think it is, this unqieness you speak of is more or less the standards we expect with other OS's, what Windows doesn't do Apple does and vice versa, but one of them has always been the standard with the other.
