That's the only point of voting out that made sense but the issue came when we elected MEPs who were meant to oversee this stuff and the idiots in this country elected UKIP people who didn't even show up or abstained from voting on this and that affected the UK. They were meant to present us and stand for us, not just insuly other MEPs and be there as seat filler. Keep in mind they were getting paid to not do their jobs too. Should have been fired long ago.
