It seems like the franchise is in growth.

Persona (PS + PSP): 0.67 mill
Persona 2 (PS + PSP): 0.7 mill
Persona 3 (PS2 + PSP): 1.91 mill
Persona 4 (PS2 + Vita): 2.16 mill

Tbf p3 and p4 have a remaster combined with the original. Its like saying zelda sold 10mil because OoT had 7.5mil and 3ds version sold over 4mil. 

 

I wouldnt combine those. P5 is fine to combine cuz its released same time and is basically the exact same game

The games aren't just a Remaster, Atlus usually release the comum version and some years later they release the Ultimate version with extra content (Like DLC), there is a big difference between Persona 3, and Persona 3 FES, Persona 4, and Persona 4 Gold.
