Why does Messi needs to win a major tournament in order to be compared to Pele and Maradona?

You must be joking. Argentina 1986 was the best team overall Argentina ever had.

That team was stacked from front to back and Valdano (Real Madrid star at the time) was there despite Maradona's presence.

So many people try to rewrite history and claim that Argentina and Napoli were garbage and that Maradona was the only good player in these 2 teams.
