This is a joke right? Maradona literally dragged a team of garbage men to the trophy highhandedly. There has never, ever been anything like that. You're right that Pele had stacked teams, but Maradona was essentially playing 5 against 11. Messi's team is far more loaded with talent than was Maradona's and the fact that they made it to the WC finals despite Messi playing like ass after the group stages proves that. If he wants to be compared to Maradona he needs to show that he can win a tournament on his own. Winning with stacked Spanish teams doesn't cut it.
