I kinda see where you are coming from with the violence bit. I love a good mature game as much as the next person, but after a sustained period playing shooters, open world and war games on my PS4, I then turn to my Wii U for more family friendly type stuff to cool down from the violence. It's nice to have these options and it shows that Nintendo need to be around in this industry just to offer that difference. They may not be the mainstream darlings at present but they stll offer something unique and totally different to what MS and Sony offer. Personally I love my gaming hobby and I like the diversity on offer for me to choose from, I do sway a little more to Nintendo but that's because I love their franchises. Every dog has its day, Sony are having theirs now, Nintendo will again at some stage and maybe Xbox might sneak a gen, but boy the industry is thriving and that's the most important thing.
