My first console was an NES and back then I worshiped it like a god. I considered getting an n64 just for pokemon stadium, but thankfully I didn't. I bought a wii solely for the motion controls (and because of the hype), which sadly didn't work very well.
I have zero interest in buying a Ninty home (or handheld) console in the future. I played Super Mario 3d land and absolutely hated how little the franchise has progressed. That (and Pokemon Y) was enough for me to decide to never buy another Ninty console unless they come up with something truly revolutionary (something like motion controls).
@OP your logic is extremely flawed as most people have pointed out. The other consoles undoubtedly offer more variety than Ninty ever has. If you think that all they offer is realistic shooters and cinematic experiences, you should do some research, because you clearly have no idea what you're talking about.
