I wasn't impressed by the combat but knowing Platinum Games its the one thing that will probably be good.

I'm more concerned about the other stuff shown in the demo, and Platinum's track record doesn't make me feel confident about it.

Kamiya didn't develop PG flunkies. When they handle big projects they usually deliver on the fun and competent parts.
