Skyrim, The Witcher, Fallout, deus ex. and even in games like Until Dawn and Heavy Rain. its more and more becoming the norm when dialogue options are shown. and reviewers might see this as "lacking". personally i wouldnt have a problem with it if the story is good, as i said. i wouldnt even have a problem if the main story had a fixed story, while side quests (even if they are just smaller side quests) have options that effect the results. 

No doubt it will have an affect on reviews but it is suddenly becoming a thing when before it wasn't. Reviewers ruined gaming for many years because they'd dock a game for not having an online option, they even docked Driveclub points for being on roads.
