How does everyone feel about Final Fantasy XV's "Wait mode"

I will buy Star Ocean 5 because I love the series and tri-Ace, but Im not excited for it. A little piece of that is because B class anime styled JRPG's have taken their toll on me. Im getting sick of them. JRPG's are in stagnant state in uncreativity/by books
