Why no modular controller from the big three?

On topic, the swap controller is one of those things that i have really wondered why they never happened. Seems like such a no brainer that its almost stupid to me how its nevee been done. Sell a controller, then allow people swap where things go. Take it a step further and allw them swap faceplates, backplates, battery types, button types, stick types..... if you see it you can swap it. So doimg would have created a market in of itself 

Glad to see you agree with me. I don't know how to tell you this, but the Dreamcast controller only had ONE STICK.

You know what had two sticks?  Sony's PS1 Dual Analog Controller.  Nintendo took that idea from them, just like Sony took the idea for shoulder buttons from Nintendo.  This "who stole what from whom" thing is meaningless.  Innovation that moves the industry forward should be embraced by everyone.

Saying Nintendo stole offset sticks from the Dreamcast, when the Dreamcast only had one stick is a cringe worthy moment. Sorry I made such a big deal about it. Can we all be friends now? I'm just stating a fact, not trying to be an @hole. Please understand. RIP Iwata.
