DOOM – NEXT UPDATE WILL BRING NEW PHOTO MODE, CLASSIC DOOM WEAPON PLACEMENT & SNAPMAP FEATURES

Bethesda has announced some of the key features that will be included in the next update for DOOM. According to the publisher, DOOM’s next update will include several improvements and will introduce a new Photo Mode, as well as a Classic DOOM weapon placement/view model option.

 

HITMAN WILL RECEIVE A BONUS EPISODE THIS JULY

IO Interactive today confirmed that a bonus episode for HITMAN will be released on July 19th. The Summer Bonus Episode consists of two separate ICA missions which catalogue Agent 47’s first trips to both Sapienza and Marrakesh.

CD Projekt RED has released a new patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. According to its huge changelog, this patch will update your game’s version to 1.22 and fixes a lot of issues and bugs that have been reported by its community.

“Consolitus” is a word that a lot of console gamers hate. This word describes how some games “change” in order to be released on consoles. Developers do a lot of changes regarding the level design, the control mechanics, the AI, the graphics, and – generally speaking – everything in order to make the games enjoyable on consoles.

F1 2016 TO BE RELEASED ON AUGUST 19TH

Codemasters has announced that F1 2016, the official videogame of the 2016 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, will be released on August 19th. In addition, Codemasters released a new trailer for the game in which Daniel Ricciardo and Jolyon Palmer race around the brand new Baku Circuit.

 

DAYZ – UPDATE 0.60 IS NOW AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC, INCLUDES NEW DX11 RENDERER

Bohemia Interactive has announced the release of the highly anticipated 0.60 patch for DayZ. This update features the new DX11 renderer that significantly increases the game’s performance on a variety of PC configurations. This patch will be auto-downloaded from Steam, and you can view below some comparison videos between the game’s DX9 and DX11 modes!

 

SYSTEM SHOCK REMASTERED – NEW BEAUTIFUL SCREENSHOTS RELEASED

NightDive Studios has released some new screenshots for System Shock Remastered, showcasing the new and improved visuals that will be featured in this Remaster. System Shock Remastered is powered by the Unity Engine and Night Dive Studios aims to create a new game true to the classic experience, ‘keeping all the things you loved, while updating the user interface and graphics to use a modern day engine.’

 

INNER CHAINS DELAYED TO Q4 2016

Telepaths’ Tree announced today that it has moved the Inner Chains’ release date to the turn of Q3 and Q4 2016 so that it can bring gamers the best FPS horror experience possible. As the press release reads, Telepaths’ Tree had to face a tough decision: whether to finish development on schedule, delivering what was promised, or to take some more time in order to bring FPS horror game fans out there a title that will be bigger in scale and richer in content, and that will truly meet gamers’ expectations.

Dambuster Studio has released a new patch for Homefront: The Revolution. According to its changelog, this patch comes with additional Nvidia tweaks and fixes for a number of issues. In addition, this patch reduces the number of checkpoints saves that occur whilst playing.

DICE has released a new patch for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. According to the changelog, this patch improves HW auto detect functionality, improves overall performance and comes with improvements for quad core machines in regards to an issue that caused a desync in audio during cut scenes.

Our reader ‘WrATH’ has shared with us some screenshots from the latest version of Star Citizen 2.4. This latest version provides access to the new Shopping experience, full Hangar interactivity from within the game client via new options and the Port Modification App. In addition, Cloud Imperium has made many changes to Crusader and Port Olisar including the implementation of new missions, Alpha Currency and Defender reputation.

 

UNITY RELEASES MIND-BLOWING REAL-TIME TECH DEMO, RUNNING AT 1440P ON A GEFORCE GTX980

Unity Technologies has just released the full length film for its Adam tech demo. According to the company, the Adam demo is a real-time-rendered short film created with the Unity engine by its demo team, and it’s running at 1440p on a GeForce GTX980. This tech demo shows what Unity 5 Engine is actually capable of and it looks gorgeous, so be sure to check it out. Oh, and this demo will be available soon for download, so stay tuned everyone!
