If there is something we learned a few times in gaming, is that nobody owns the market forever. And with Microsoft new strategy of ending the generation tradition, Microsoft could very well sold a lot more Xbox with scorpio, and all the while, Sony could still sell a lot of PS4/neo.

Except they would play the same game on PS4/X1 than on Neo and Scorpio, so not much incentive

Honestly, I'm just against both of these products in general. We don't need mid gen upgrades to become a standard thing in the industry. It seems like the XBO and PS4 are just starting to flex their muscles, and now upgrades are already on their way? And the older consoles will still play the same games? What's the point really? To make games look better? It's still the same game, but looks nicer.

Look, I can see that this would be nice for people who don't have those consoles yet, but what about those who bought it? Just stick with them, or sell their current console, and buy the newer one?

I just don't really see the point, especially with the scorpio boasting its power. What's the point if you can still play them on a normal XBO? It seems like a waste. Or, if it's like a new console with its own exclusive games, then this gen seems like the quickest one and feels like releasing the XBO and PS4 was a bit of a mistake.

Those are my just thoughts on the Neo and Scorpio though.

I see the point for Neo (VR, and that is why I plan on buying), now to play the same game and possibly with very minute modifications it would'nt be worth.
