Didn't MS state at E3 is where they like to show games that have actual release dates and Gamercon for new games coming out. I believe MS has been doing this for a number of years. Yes, Sony is getting a lot of exclusive from non first party developers but then again they have Japan.

Its interesting that people keep throwing in indie developers along side established developers in one sentence. Both companies have exclusive indie efforts so to dismiss MS efforts and champion the other seems kind of off. Either way, both OEM probably have plenty in the pipe for years to come.

I don't know if they've ever stated anything like that, I definitely haven't seen it and they've definitely haven't been doing it for a number of years.

E3 2015, Sea of Thieves, coming 22 months after announcement. Recore was announced with a Spring 2016 release but it's coming September. Gears of War 4 coming 16 months after announcement.

E3 2014 was a lot worse. Scalebound, coming 33 months after announcement and Crackdown coming 34-41 month after announcement, same with Phantom Dust.

The reason I didn't include indies is because there's just a bunch, and trust me, Sony has a shit ton more indies coming to their platform. They even have the better indies coming to their platform like Killing Floor 2, Darkest Dungeon, The Witness, SOMA, etc. Sony definitely has the "bigger" indies.
