Absolutely. Modern NBA is really weak, and I can't figure out what happened.
Steph Curry wouldn't be an MVP in the 90s era. LeBron however I think would have still done quite well back in the day. Maybe not multiple championships level (depending on team), but he has the physical talent to excel even back when it was a whole lot rougher on the court. Heck, I like Steph Curry, his three point shot is a thing of beauty, but he is far from a complete player. He is mediocre or worse on defense :
