heh, that's one of the problems I pointed out The US and Mexico would probably be better off for it, although even then you'd have to wonder about club football. If their regional club competitions would be merged as well then that would be a lot of extra travel with teams from the US/Canada having to travel down to Argentina/Chile etc and vice versa. Regardless it would probably negatively affect central American/Caribbean teams chances of qualifying for a World Cup as well.

Than Perú yes,  but I think the lower mid teams in conmebol could take the spot that usually get teams like Honduras and costa rica
