Just that for most games market lead wont matter. Basically every multiplat comes for PC. Yeah, some japanese games no mainstream customer cares about aren't. But that's it. One damn CoD is proably worth hundreds of 'minor' japanese games when it comes to console sales. Like it or not.
So here we are, games get developed for Windows PC, Windows Box and PS4. Actually Scorpio get's higher quality assets for free because of PC games. And with DirectX and Windows all that stuff can be ported easier. Actually it's not even a traditional port.
So, why the hell should the extra power not matter. Even if it's just another silly resolutiongate. So no, more power will be relevant. Not because of market leadership but because it's a no issue to use it. Again, the simple reason is PC gaming and Windows.
P.S.:
@ruler: Technically a modern Mac is a PC running on MacOS. It's not a home computer, hasn't been for almost a decade.

Yep you can disagree with him and say that the extra power will be used because of the reasons you gave (which might not end up happening since we have also seen with PS4 and X1 the 3rd party don't make much of their time optimizing the versions. So it Scorpio is 30% more powerfull they may not really use it), but you can't say that he said graphics is irrelevant.

The additional power right now is basically resolutiongate. Modern engines usually scaling well with resolution 44% more pixels eat up the additional GPU power.
And i really think that will be irrelevant. It's not even such a big deal with PS4 and One, Neo and Scorpio will likely even be a smaller difference. It's not about Scorpios power not being utilised but the results on screen. Those will be smaller than most people think.
