Oracle of Ages was my very first Zelda game and I loved it so much that I scraped together all of my pocket money for months in order to buy Oracle of Seasons too.
I think the Capcom Zeldas are very underrated, so good on you for starting with Ages! I think Ages has the more interesting story of the two (I've always loved the time travel aspect) but if you like it, be sure to give Seasons a try too and get to the true ending, it's worth it.
I've always wanted to play the Zeldas in order of the timelines but that would mean starting with Skyward sword, wich people either seem to hate or love and working your way up from there.
Since you're already playing the Oracle games I'd do on to Links Awakening -> Link between worlds -> The legend of Zelda. I'd skip Adventure of Link unless you absolutely want to try it.
I'd play Link to the past before Link between world though because you get more out of it that way.
