The PS4 has the best graphics, why would I buy an Xbone?

Graphics don't matter, PS4 is still gonna outsell it.

Except OP said the extra power won't bring better graphics to Scorpio because PS4 will have to big of a lead to make devs make a much better version for Scorpio when they also keep the compatibility. He may be wrong and devs use the power, but I didn't see he saying graphics wouldn't matter to him, but that it would hardly have better graphics or that common folks would care.

Just that for most games market lead wont matter. Basically every multiplat comes for PC. Yeah, some japanese games no mainstream customer cares about aren't. But that's it. One damn CoD is proably worth hundreds of 'minor' japanese games when it comes to console sales. Like it or not.

So here we are, games get developed for Windows PC, Windows Box and PS4. Actually Scorpio get's higher quality assets for free because of PC games. And with DirectX and Windows all that stuff can be ported easier. Actually it's not even a traditional port.

So, why the hell should the extra power not matter. Even if it's just another silly resolutiongate. So no, more power will be relevant. Not because of market leadership but because it's a no issue to use it. Again, the simple reason is PC gaming and Windows.

P.S.:

@ruler: Technically a modern Mac is a PC running on MacOS. It's not a home computer, hasn't been for almost a decade.
