If you want to reply to more than 1 person, you can use the multi-quote button (it's next to quote). Press the MQ button for person A, then normal quote person B (or MQ person A, B, C, etc, then quote the last). All the quotes should be there, with room under each for your comment (or you can delete that space if you don't need it).
