I guess nobody read the other DR4 timed exclusive thread. In a nutshell, MS is more than likely partially funding the game. Why is it still coming to PS4? I guess Capcom played hardball this time.
A PS4 version doesn't change the fact that they're having financial issues, and likely wouldn't take a chance on DR4 without a partner (see SFV which launched half-baked WITH Sony's financial support, and flopped). Capcom also said DR3 wouldn't have happened without MS. Dead Rising isn't nearly as big as Street Fighter, yet people still insist that this is a standard moneyhat??
