That's probably a plus for Nintendo, since they can pick up the slack in Japan, US/UK are their weakest markets, which are the strongest markets for MS. 

It goes beyond that though. Simply slapping Animal Crossing, Mario or Pokémon on an Xbox isnt going to make it sell 3DS numbers in Japan. Likewise, it probably isn't going to do anything for them in the West either. I just don't see the kinds of games Nintendo makes selling a whole lot on other platforms (except for mobile).
