I agree with most here that the user base for the PS4 is really large now. But, I also think that most of the PS4 owners might normally have bought an Xbox console too, but the XB1's power scared them off. With the Scorpio, that fear will dissolve. I think that the Scorpio will change things as far as sales go, but it won't close the userbase gap(forget sales gaps now, console generations are history). I think the Scorpio will allow for MS to level/even out the weekly/monthly sales of the xbox platform versus the Playstation platform. |
Consoles generations still exist, Microsoft is the one of "Without barriers" or something like that. PS4 is too ahead for just a Power advantage surpass it sales.
If Scorpio or Xbox One don't have exclusives and all their games launch for PC, they will not be able to sell well.
