When you sit on a couch five or six feet away from a 4K tv the human eye (even with perfect 20/20 vision) can not see the difference between 1080p and 4K. It's a proven fact.

Only when you are a few feet from the 4K tv can you see the difference, so it's good for PC monitors.

4K for livingroom tv's is the biggest joke to hit your bank account since the first LP sized laser disc's.
I will never buy a 4K tv. I want a 1080p tv that supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) color.
