Well we know thats not right becasue even the Xbox ONE S is capable of improving how some xbox one games will run.

Its just a misinterpreation of a very badly worded answer from Phil Spencer.

It's hard to fault the reporter as misinterpreting when Spencer told him it won't do anything for him.  That's all on Spencer.  It is an understandable answer considering they don't want people waiting for the Scorpio and skipping the S.
