Hmmm so the Scorpio doesn't add better lighting, textures or draw distance?
If that's the case it would mean developers wouldn't need to make any changes to their software as it would basically just be Xbox One games running at a higher resolution with no other alterations.
I don't believe this to be the case though, I think Phil Spencer is saying you won't notice a major difference, however I believe there will still be differences other than just resolution.
Not to mention 720p XBO games, you'll notice the advantage of scorpio on a 1080p tv then.
It's kind of a silly comment by Phil Spencer tbh, I think he's just saying it's designed for people with a 4k display but I'm sure the statement "it won't do anything for you" is wrong.
