Xbox One S won't give games a performance boost

Yes! If you still have your PS4 box. Look at the CUH-XXXX number. If it is 1000 series it's a model A. If it's 1100 series it's a model B. If it's 1200 series it's a model C. The number will be more than 1200 because of the particular style, like the Darth Vader edition. Mine is CUH-1215.

On topic: The Xbox One S will definitely do some things better than the OG Xbox One because it is a total redesign. Nobody redesigns something to run same or worse. What would be the point?
