I see every console going with some sort of motion control and IR functionality but I doubt it will be in the form of a remote control set up like the Wii.
The next gen will see a blending of the two controllers that will combine the IR and motions with double joysticks.
@munkeh you map the car's steering to the nunchuck's joystick and the shooting to the IR.
