Pretty much agree. I dont think sony will go for anything above $499. Being first and far more price competitive option beats matching Scorpio tit for tat. Especially if Native 4k isn't the goal (I don't think it should be this decade).

In order for the torch to be passed to it as an entry point "Next gen" device, I feel like they'd both need new CPUs, this is my main concern with Sony.

Fascinated by the huge gulf in power distribution between pushing for 4k resolution on Scoprio versus using that power to make better looking sub 4k games. I wonder what developers will do...

Being first?  Is the Neo coming first?

I think they just went back to the drawing board.

The interview with House is very telling.  He almost seems to be making it up as he goes along.  I wonder why the sony conference was so short?

Looks to me like MS is the one still stuck on a drawing board

- Announcing thin air (Scorpio is literally nothing)

- Greenberg:  "#XboxOne family all your games will work, no Scorpio exclusives, so no one gets left behind". Shannon Loftis: "I don't know about that. We'll see. It's up to the game development community."

Totally sounds like they were ready and know what they're doing.
