| Azuren said: I'd give it an 8/10, about as groundbreaking as the Microsoft aspect of the MS/Xbox conference (Victory for Windows that made Microsoft better as a whole, devastating for Xbox as it found itself entirely replaceable). Highlights in order: 1. Kojima and Reedus. YUS. I think my night could have only been made better if the words "written by Guillermo del Toro" appeared somewhere. 2. Dat Orchestra (though it dragged a bit too long for my taste) 3. OMFG KRATOBEARD 4. AW SHEEIT,LAST GUARDIAN RELEASE DATE (The trailer could have literally just been the director holding a case for it and saying "October 28th, this year" and I would be happy with that) 5. Horizon: Zero Dawn looks. Fucking. Rad. Like holy cow. 6. Resident Evil is SCARY AGAIN?! NO FUCKING EASY. 7. Days Gone looked like a good ol' fashion zombie apocalypse. (Initial reaction at beginning: "Oh, cool dialogue. Post-apocalypse, nice." End of conference gameplay: "Oh, zombie apocalypse? And it ISN'T first person? Count me in." (NOTE: I'm allowed to not like Dead Rising and be excited about other third person zombie games because Dead Rising failed me in DE2) 8. Oh Spiderman? *secretly hopes it will be as good at Spiderman Ultimate in PS2* Letdowns: 1. Real time on Dead Stranding, but no gameplay and no idea how it plays 2. Omg will you stop talking about Call of Du-TURN THAT DAMN TRAILER OFF OMG. 3. I don't like Crash Bandicoot. Fight me. 4. I don't like Star Wars games either. Fight me, bro. |
That was the most modest showing of a Call of Duty game in years. I didn't even know or suspected it was CoD until like halfway into the trailer.
