I don't see how. Microsoft just spent 90 minutes basically convincing consumers NOT to buy an Xbox One. All exclusives are now available on PC, which offers more customization, mods, better resolution/frame rate, and free online.
Sure, not every one has a PC that can play games like Scalebound and Forza Horizon 3 - that's why I'm still invested in the Xbox ecosystem - but I don't think advertising PC versions of Microsoft's biggest games has done Xbox any favors.
Also, the announcement of Scorpio has done nothing to fix Xbox' biggest problem vis-a-vis Playstation, its main rival in the console space: first-party studios and games. PlayStation still has a huge headstart in terms of first-party exclusives and third-party exclusives. Honestly, I wish Xbox had taken all the money from Scorpio R&D and invested it in software development.
