Is Microsft about to dominate the console market next year?

Microsft just announced their next console. But on another note, maybe this will be the kick other devs needed to start pumping the gas a little more on console hardware and visuals. The 8th gen as a whole has been broken promises. Im actually excited to see such a huge step forward all of a sudden

I doubt it. Considering all our games should be moving with us from here on out. Who the hell is going to be dumb enough to give up their whole library to switch to a new console?
