[Opinion] Sony pulled NEO from E3 because they realized it would be the weakest of the 3 consoles within a year

I don't care how many Wii's were sold. It is a dead console while PS3s are still selling. Wii did nothing for Nintendo's brand strength, if anything it weakened it. While the PS3 managed to strengthen the brand, spawning the new IPs that are currently also carrying the PS4.

MS will not be able to ever defeat Sony simply because of the much much weaker brand and the missing exclusives. Nintendo is already dead and the Wii U proves its dwindling fan base.

But the PS3 will never reach Wii numbers despite it still selling. The Wii is a perfect example from coming from behind to win an entire gen.

What did Nintendo win exactly? Temporary money? The Wii did nothing for Nintendo which is quite obvious when looking at the Wii U. The PS3 however paved the way for the PS4 success while selling only slightly less than the Wii. You tell me who actually won anything from last gen.
