That would explain the design of gameplay that we're hearing so far which makes it a bit of a shame to see it watered down to being a clone of another game rather than trying to just be Quake.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
