There will always be people pissy about this sort of thing, but it doesn't mean it's the norm. Personally, I can see why people might be disappointed not to be the same character, but those people referencing the demographics of san francisco as if that makes the notion of a black hacker impossible are really reaching and, to be frank, beyond stupid.

My only worry is this could be akin to the current Ghostbusters movie... if this game doesn't sell well (and short of some really impressive gameplay footage I have zero interest in Watch_Dog as a whole), it will certainly be attributed to the protagonist being black. It's a shame the last Watch_Dog got off to such a fast start but fell in popularity with time, as that is the exact sort of scenario that will make meeting sales expectations difficult.

I suppose now I have to hope Watch Dogs 2 does well just so I don't have to hear about how racist we gamers are for weeks lol
