I find your lack of CD Projekt RED disturbing They are also another example of a company that keeps working on its products for a long time, keeps on adding content and doesn't get backlash for it. Strange how it works for these two, while others get crucified. Granted, their games are usually very good on release and they do work from day 1. |
CD RED gives A LOT to its supporters. There are 18 free DLCs for Witcher 3, and 2 paid expension. For the price of those 2 expensions (25$) you basically get a new game's worth of content.
I did Hearts of Stone, and am now going through Blood and Wine, and by the time I'm done, I will have clocked over 40 hours compined with these two. And both are of really high quality. They put as much care into those expensions as they did in the main game. Even adding new gameplay features and mechanics!
So yeah, they don't get the backlash most other devs get because they respect gamers and their expectations (although someone might bring up the PC version of the game having been downgraded visually... But those are a minority of the PC gamers who have an overgrown sense of self-entitlement xD). CD RED don't nickel and dime gamers, and they are quick to release updates and patches when problems surface.
