Hearthstone got boring in a week or two, HotS is for mindless casuals. I have no doubt that Blizzard will continue their dominating presence in the gaming industry. There wasn't supposed to be influence from Activision when they purchased Blizzard but it seems the company has shifted in the years after the acquisition. I sensed the shift right around the time of Cataclysm and SC2. I tried the SC2 beta a few times and decided that the game didn't have my interest anymore. Never picked up D3 but I might eventually. Perhaps it was my change in taste or getting tired of their series. To me the company has lost the magic since about 2007 or so.
