HOMEWORLD REMASTERED 2.0 UPDATE GOES LIVE, FULL PATCH NOTES ARE OUT

http://www.pcgamer.com/homeworld-remastered-20-update-goes-live-full-patch-notes-are-out/

Today is June 7 and that means the Homeworld Remastered 2.0 update is live, and the full list of patch notes is now available to the public. The complete list of changes can be seen here, but highlights include a rebalancing of the entire game—both single and multiplayer—and a complete overhaul of the formations system “to better support Homeworld 1 formations.”

MIRAGE: ARCANE WARFARE TRAILER DISCUSSES THE COMEDY VALUE OF BLOOD AND GORE

http://www.pcgamer.com/mirage-arcane-warfare-trailer-discusses-the-comedy-value-of-blood-and-gore/

Torn Banner Studios' new game Mirage: Arcane Warfare promises to be very much like its predecessor, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, but with magic, which gives players the ability to do all sorts of things they otherwise couldn't—like lifting enemies into the air and turning them into a thin, sticky paste, for instance. But all the old tricks, like chopping a dude's legs off, still work too.

RAINBOW SIX SIEGE CHEATERS WILL NOW BE PERMABANNED ON THE FIRST OFFENSE

http://www.pcgamer.com/rainbow-six-siege-cheaters-will-now-be-permabanned-on-the-first-offense/

Rainbow Six Siege cheaters and hackers, take note: Ubisoft has updated the game's code of conduct to allow for permanent bans of anyone who gets up to untoward shenanigans, even on the first offense.

WILDSTAR WILL BE AVAILABLE ON STEAM THIS WEEK

http://www.pcgamer.com/wildstar-will-be-available-on-steam-this-week/

WildStar made the awkward transition from a subscription-based MMO to a free-to-play one last year, but it appears to have paid off: people are still playing and talking it, thanks in part to the recent Destination Arcterra expansion. When Carbine Studios announced these changes it also pointed to an eventual Steam release, and as it turns out, that is happening this week.

A NEW WATCH DOGS 2 TRAILER HAS APPARENTLY LEAKED

http://www.pcgamer.com/a-new-watch-dogs-2-trailer-has-apparently-leaked/

Nowadays, trailers don't roll out during E3 – they leak the week before. That appears to be true, at least, for Watch Dogs 2. Apparently Twitch pulled the trigger on some advertisements a bit too early, and Twitter user @Fobwashed managed to capture it before they were taken down.

GENJI BADMINTON IS OVERWATCH'S SECOND-MOST EXCITING MODE

http://www.pcgamer.com/genji-badminton-is-overwatchs-second-most-exciting-mode/

Doubles badminton probably wasn't what Blizzard imagined Overwatch's array of complementary skills would result in. I'm not sure Play Of The Game is equipped to handle searing flick serves, either. That hasn't stopped this group of Korean players gathering in a private server for a friendly in between saving the world.

THE WITCHER 3 IS STILL BEING PATCHED, DESPITE DEVS' HEARTFELT FAREWELL

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-witcher-3-is-still-being-patched-despite-devs-heartfelt-farewell/

CDPR just doesn't stop. It's been over a year since The Witcher 3 released and, in addition to enormous, near-perfect expansions, it's enjoyed a constant flow of patches to features most devs would have given up on. And it's not quite the end.
