Stop making stuff up.  That's not true and you know it, otherwise games like Ryse, The Order, and Crysis 3 would have been much more popular and recieved far less criticism.  There is no reason for you to derail this thread because people have different taste in gaming than you.

who's derailing anything? That's my honest opinion. You seem to be the only person who thinks this way. Quit reading too deep into things and getting yourself worked up over absolutely nothing. It really isn't worth it, right? From experience, I know friends who won't touch a Mario or Mine Craft because of how childish they look. Not because of how the games played. There was a thread a while ago where a user asked how do you play crappy kiddy games like Splatoon. If I didn't like something, I'd just go about my business and not make a huge scene about it in thread form.

I'm a retro gamer, that's how I feel. Sure I play new games but I've played with the best graphics and I've played with the worst. Atari VCS to PS4. One of the first things any human does is look at the object or subject. We're visual creatures. Graphics, naturally, are a huge selling point to people. For example, even though Star Fox Zero isn't the best game ever made, people were comparing it to Nintendo 64 graphics. They didn't question gameplay until they got their hands on it but most of the comments were about the graphics looking like a N64 or Gamecube game.

I didn't even necessarily make it know what "taste" in gaming I had. Why jump to the punch so fast? Why so eager to instagate? Why...so serious? This is my opinion in gaming. There is no way to factualize what you or I said. The smart thing to do would be to let me have my opinion and you yours. From experience, this is how I feel. If you feel indifferent, fine, but don't try and call people out on objective threads.

Edit: I see you're a tad sour because of one of your most recent wall posts. Please don't take that out on me, that's not how I think. Never had an enemy in my life, not gonna start now :)
