Honestly, you have like 50/50 chance of this being great gameplay wise. However any way you slice it will be beloeved by fans. (It will be interesting, since it could have been just Killzone that holds them back from great gameplay.)

Killzone games have had great gameplay especially Killzone 3 and boith 2 and 3 had fantastic pacing and level design so I don't get how KIllzone holds them back from great gameplay.

This game isn't about multiplayer, I think it doesn't even have a multiplayer mode. Like The Witcher 3 its an open world singleplayer RPG.
